ADJARULI. The basis of this choreographic suite is an Adjarian folk dance "Ganda-gana". This duet of a loving couple looks quite impressive on the background of crowded festival. This dance is typical for the people living at the Black Sea shore. The movements are more frivolous and flirtation-like. The interesting design of costume is attached with motley belt and quite an original Kabalaki-like turban to a monocolor dress of traditional proportions. "Adjaruli" is the dance that is closest to the modernistic aesthetics.

Choreography by I. Sukhishvili and N. Ramishvili. 1945.
